Question We enjoyed deep explanation of the nature of Christ How can you explain in the same simplicity the dogma of the Trinity?

A question:

One saying, we enjoyed your simple and deep explanation of the nature of Christ at St. Mark’s two days ago. How can you explain in the same simplicity the dogma of the Trinity? ^[1]

The Answer:

 All right.

You see, as man is the image of God. When I say man, I mean mankind, because women also are the image of God. Man, mankind,الإنسان يعني  Man is the image of God. He has the ego الذات , the mind, the spirit, and the three are one. When we notice the fire, we have the fire itself. Out of the fire there is heat and there is light. The fire, the heat, the light, the three are one.

The same with the sun. So, as the heat is born of the fire, the son in the Holy Trinity is born of the father. As the light is coming out of the fire, so the spirit is coming out of the ego of God, the father.

For this reason, we call the sun in the Holy Trinity, the Logos. The Logos was translated by St. Jerome to be Word. So, you read the first verse in the Gospel of St. John, “in the beginning was the word, and the word was God, and the word was God”. I myself, in my own prayers, when I recite this passage of St. Jerome Gospel, I say, In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was God, and God was the Logos. How?

from the word Logos, it came logic. logic.المنطق logic doesn’t mean pronunciation, but logic is the mind. When you read any dictionary, a Greek dictionary, Greek and English, we say that Logos may be mind, may be reasonالعقل . From God came the unlimited mind or reason, which is the Logos. And, when you read, everything was made by him, and without him was nothing made. That means everything was created by the mind of God. And when you ask, who created the world? the God, or the God the father, or God the son, I may say to you both, how?

 when you say, I understood this problem with my mind, who understood, you or your mind, can you answer? You understood through your mind or by your mind, and you or your mind, both are one.

الكلام دا صعب ولا دخل مخكوا؟

So, the son is the mind of God, the reason of God, the Logos of God. And God the father and his son are one. The divinity of the father and the mind of the father are one.

And so, the spirits. And so, the spirits.
