Question are there any differences in other Orthodox Churches from the Coptic Church ?
A question:
Another question, are there any differences in other Orthodox Churches from the Coptic Church? Difference from the Coptic Church, for example Greek, (hand writing isn’t so good) and Antioch? [1]
The Answer:
Yes, there is a problem of Christology, which we had an agreement for it, and the meeting of the Theologians, but not yet in an orthodox, a pan-orthodox meeting of the hierarchies of the Churches.
And there are some other differences, or Saints, the Saints after the separation of the Church, and the Saints before. That means all of us, we believe in the Saints before the year 451, that was the Council of Chalcedon. But after this, they have their own Saints who are not accepted by our Church, and we have our own Saints which are not accepted by them. So, when they tried to discuss this matter, and asked for my advice, I said to them, we can have two kinds of Saints, universal Saints for the Holy Church, and other local Saints after the separation.
The other part of the question, can the Coptic Church accept the Holy Communion as there is? Not now.
When we reach full communion in faith, we may accept the Holy Communion, but not now. Now we accept the marriage if the Church, the other Church, accepts our baptism. But we didn’t reach the point of the Holy Communion till now.
And can other Orthodox Christians receive Communion in the Coptic Church?
Not now
