There are urgent or emergency cases of pastoral visitation, such as visiting the sick or visits made to resolve a problem that cannot be postponed.
There are also other organized visits carried out on the level of the entire congregation in the area.
It is advisable for the priest to have a notebook or planner that reminds him of his responsibilities regarding pastoral visitation.
