Islamic-Christian Dialogue Conference – A Message on Love

⬇️ تحميل الفيديو

The meeting addresses the importance of Islamic-Christian dialogue based on love, respect, and cooperation.
It emphasizes that sincere dialogue cannot be built on offending the other, but requires respecting the other, loving what is good for them, and cooperating with them.
It presents Christian teaching, which calls for loving one’s neighbor as oneself, and even for giving oneself for the sake of others.

Spiritual Message

Christian teaching stresses rejecting offense against others through actions, thoughts, intentions, or the feelings of the heart.
Even when a person is subjected to offense, they should not respond to evil with evil, but can defend themselves without offending another person.
It also explains that a righteous person works on the positive side, making people love his religion without making them hate the religions of others.
The speech also connects freedom of thought with purity of thought, explaining that freedom does not mean spreading wrong ideas or attacking others.

Educational Lesson

The speech explains that the freedom God gave human beings is a disciplined freedom and not an absolute freedom.
This is compared to the Nile River, which flows within its course between two banks, not so that they may eliminate its movement, but so that they may regulate its course.
One bank of human freedom is represented by God’s commandments, laws, and statutes, while the other is represented by the country’s system, laws, and statutes that do not conflict with God’s laws.

Practical Spiritual Application

The meeting calls Muslims and Christians to cooperate in matters they share, especially doing good, loving others, developing the earth, and spreading virtue.
It also calls for spreading religion in opposition to atheism without offending other religions or the beliefs of their followers.
It emphasizes that the purpose of dialogue is to reach one unified way of thinking based on goodness, love, and peace, bringing everyone together in serving their homelands.
It concludes with the hope that continuing dialogue will lead to greater love between Muslims and Christians and stronger cooperation among them.
