Examples of Men and Women in the Bible

🟢 Introduction
-
The Bible gives us examples and models of men and women to learn from.
-
Adam and Eve are the first model in everything: the first man and woman, the first sin and punishment, and the first father and mother.
🟣 The Woman in Biblical Thought
-
She was created as a helper and counterpart to the man, equal in human nature and dignity, talents, and responsibility before God.
-
Yet, the man is declared the head of the woman (Genesis): “your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
-
Women tend to be more emotional, while men often lead in responsibility and direction.
