The Mother Church Misses Her Children in the Diaspora

The Mother Church Misses Her Children in the Diaspora
The idea of sending some of the father bishops to visit our churches in the diaspora has succeeded to a great extent.
At present, in Europe, His Grace Bishop Benjamin is visiting the churches of Germany, Austria, England, and France, and His Grace Bishop Rewis is visiting the Copts in Sweden.
At the same time, in America, there are His Grace Bishop Tadros and His Grace Bishop Antonius Markos.
After that, His Grace Bishop Antonius Markos will also go to visit our children in Australia.
They are all in constant movement and continual travel, from one city to another, and from one church to another. They study the condition of the churches and their needs, and they communicate weekly with His Holiness the Pope, informing him of their news and travels and receiving his directions and remarks.
They also give him a detailed idea about the new areas that need churches, or priest fathers, or consecrated deacons, or the revision of their regulations…
During all this, they ordain deacons for the service of the churches, consecrate altars, work on solving problems, and carry out organizational arrangements… etc.
It is a great work in caring for the diaspora…
From among the venerable hierarchs who visited the diaspora and studied its condition and needs, the synodal committee in the Mother Church that is responsible for the service of the diaspora will be formed. The Pope will meet with it to discuss everything necessary for our churches abroad, until bishops are ordained for those churches.
