Visitation and Pastoral Care

Visitation and Pastoral Care
One of the priestly fathers may visit a family and spend time with them speaking about anything at all,
yet his visit is not considered pastoral care, for there is a difference between visitation and pastoral care.
Pastoral care is for him to visit and to perform a spiritual work. During his visit, people feel that God has entered their home, that they have received a certain grace, and that the priest, through his visit, has drawn them toward the Kingdom.
He entered the house, and God entered with him, and God dwelt in that house.
