Her Status in the Church:
The Virgin Mary receives special honor in all church prayers, whether in the Agpeya, the liturgy, or hymns and praises, where she is constantly mentioned and her intercessions are requested, and she is placed before all saints and angels.
Her Presence in Worship and Tradition:
Many feasts are dedicated to her, and she is even celebrated monthly, and many churches and monasteries bear her name, reflecting her deep love in the hearts of believers.
Her Supreme Honor:
No woman or saint has received honor like her, as she is the queen standing at the right hand of the King, and she rose above all because she became the Mother of the Savior.
Her Spiritual Virtues:
She was distinguished by deep humility, strong faith, purity, silence, a spirit of service, love of God, and prayer. These virtues were the foundation of her greatness, not only her being the Mother of Christ.
Her True Beauty:
She combined beauty of appearance and beauty of spirit, becoming a model of chastity, purity, and calmness, and an example for every girl seeking a holy life.
Biblical Symbols:
She was likened in the Scriptures to many symbols such as Jacob’s ladder, the dove, the golden censer, the Ark of the Covenant, and the burning bush, all indicating her purity and her role in the mystery of the Incarnation.
Her Role in Salvation:
She was the beginning of the fulfillment of the plan of salvation, as from her Christ was born, who reconciled heaven and earth, therefore she is considered the greatest human in history.
Spiritual Dimension:
The Virgin teaches us true humility and not clinging to honor, but living in obedience to God and serving Him with love and purity of heart.
