✝️ The Main Idea

The lecture confirms that Christ did not come to abolish the law or cancel the Old Testament, but came to fulfill it and reveal its deep meaning, raising الإنسان to a higher spiritual level in understanding the commandment.

📖 Respect for the Old Testament

The teaching explains that all Scripture is inspired by God and has great spiritual value, and that the Old Testament remains an important foundation for understanding God’s work and His plan of salvation.

🔍 Completing Understanding Not Abolishing

Christ did not change the commandments but corrected people’s understanding of them, as they held to the letter without the spirit, so He came to declare that “the spirit gives life” and that the goal is the inner meaning not the outward form.

⚖️ Difference Between Letter and Spirit

Literal adherence to the commandment may distort its meaning, while spiritual understanding leads to mercy and love, as in the explanation of the Sabbath and doing good in it.

❤️ Expanding the Meaning of Love

Christ showed that “neighbor” is not only a relative or someone of the same faith, but every human being, and He called for loving all even enemies, elevating the commandment to a higher level.

🔔 Fulfillment of Symbols and Prophecies

Everything in the Old Testament of symbols and sacrifices pointed to Christ, and was fulfilled in His person, especially in His sacrifice which completed the meaning of redemption.

🌿 Spiritual Growth in the New Testament

Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, الإنسان became able to understand and practice deeper commandments, because his nature was renewed and he became more ready for spiritual life.

🕊️ The Purpose of the Teaching

The goal is to bring الإنسان into a deeper relationship with God through correct understanding of the commandment, moving from form to essence, and from letter to spiritual life.
