Teaching the Poor a Trade
Most churches and charitable organizations provide monthly assistance to the poor. This is good in regard to those poor who are unable to work.
As for those who are able to work, it is preferable to find employment for them, teach them a trade, or establish a small project for them. In this way, they will no longer need continuous assistance.
If that is not possible, work should be found for their sons and daughters.
Charity committees need to be trained in identifying suitable occupations for the poor.
