The lecture explains that prayer is not مجرد words said, but it is a real relationship and a heartfelt connection between الإنسان and God, based on love, faith, and inner connection.

Essence of Prayer:
True prayer is the union of the heart with God, where a person feels that he is in His presence, not just verbal speech that may not reach or be accepted.

Importance of the Heart in Prayer:
The teaching confirms that God looks at the heart, not at the length of prayer or the number of its words, for accepted prayer is that which comes from a heart connected to God and filled with faith.

Conditions of Accepted Prayer:

  • Strong faith
  • Spiritual warmth (longing and love)
  • Reverence and awe before God
  • Deep understanding of what is said

Fruits of Prayer:

  • Constant feeling of God’s presence
  • Purity of thought and distancing from sin
  • Stability of spiritual life and absence of lukewarmness
  • Filling the heart with spiritual feelings

Prayer in Daily Life:
Prayer is not only linked to a specific time, but it should accompany a person throughout his day, in every action and every moment, until it becomes a continuous life with God.

Highest Types of Prayer:

  • Prayer of love and longing for God
  • Prayer of praise and glorification without request

Spiritual Training:
A person is called to start his day with prayer and end it with it, and to train himself to enjoy prayer, because its sweetness leads him automatically to depth and continuity in it.

Human Dimension of Prayer:
Prayer is not limited to oneself, but extends to include others, the world, the sick, the needy, and all humanity with a wide and loving heart.
