• The Church used to care for the families of the martyrs and provide support, and wrote the lives of the martyrs to strengthen the faith of generations.

The lecture ends with a practical call: at the start of the new year we must train ourselves in the virtue of endurance, bear insults and pains with patience, and live in the spirit of readiness for spiritual sacrifice as the martyrs taught us.
