We can fill this year with goodness and righteousness, and we can make it a year overflowing with love and kind feelings, if we desire… and thus it will be so.
Our lives are in our hands; they are not imposed upon us… We shape them through the freedom of will granted to us by God, so that we may walk in the paths we choose. The grace of God is ready to work wonders with us, if we surrender to the work of grace within us and do not resist the Holy Spirit who desires good for us…
God desires good for us, and it remains for us to desire it as well, so that our will may unite with the good will of God… Then our entire life will become good. Even if obstacles, trials, or tribulations come upon us, they too will be for good.
We do not need someone to prophesy to us how our New Year will be; rather, we need to examine our hearts in order to know…
Our hearts are the mirror of the future…
Our hearts shape our lives, and our hearts draw the image of our future, strong and pure. And the weak heart is a prophecy of a weak future.
Let us pray to God to grant us pure hearts and steadfast hearts. And let us ask Him for our country and our people, that this year may be a happy year no matter how the enemy of الخير tries to hinder the work of grace.
