The Feast of the Virgin at Al-Muharraq Monastery:
Al-Muharraq Monastery celebrated in late June the Feast of the Virgin, which is its great annual feast. The feast was overseen by Their Graces Anba Agathon, the monastery’s abbot, and Anba Sawirus.
The Feast of Saint Moses the Black:
The Monastery of Al-Baramous celebrated the feast of Saint Moses the Black under the supervision of His Grace Anba Arsanius and Father Angelos, the monastery’s steward. The White Monastery in Sohag celebrates the feast of Saint Anba Shenouda, the Archimandrite, under the supervision of His Grace Anba Antonius. The feast of the saint is also celebrated in many churches that bear his name.
The Feast of Saint Anba Bishoy:
The Monastery of Anba Bishoy celebrates the feast of its saint on July 15. The celebration is presided over by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, supervised by His Grace Anba Sarapamon, and attended by a large number of fathers the bishops and thousands of the people. The monastery has made great preparations to receive its guests.
