Among her children also were Aaron the High Priest, and Miriam the prophetess… She gave birth to a holy family…
3- Hannah, the mother of Samuel the Prophet…
Who vowed her son to the Lord before he was born, and raised him in the temple, and he became a prophet.
4- The mother of Timothy, the disciple of Paul, and his grandmother…
The Apostle Paul said to his disciple Timothy: “I remember the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice” (2 Tim. 1:5).
The discussion about the women of the Bible needs more, to which should be added the women of history such as Mother Dolagy, Monica the mother of Augustine, and the mothers of monasticism.
