Main Idea

The talk discusses the meaning of true faith, explaining that there are different levels of faith and that God gives each person a measure of faith.
It emphasizes that faith is not merely an intellectual knowledge of God’s attributes, but a practical trust that God is able to do all things and that He always works for good.
It presents examples from the lives of Moses, Elijah, Peter, Abraham, and the disciples to show how faith appears when a person faces things that he cannot see or understand how they will happen.

Spiritual Message

Faith is confidence in what is hoped for and certainty about things that are not seen; therefore, a believer can place his problems in God’s hands and rest without being preoccupied with how the solution will come or when it will happen.
The talk explains that strong faith does not know fear or doubt because a person trusts in God’s love, help, and power.
It also explains that feeling that God is far away during times of trouble does not mean that God has abandoned a person; rather, He may sometimes allow certain trials so that the person can grow in faith and become more steadfast.

Educational Lesson

Faith does not contradict reason, but it goes beyond the limits of reason to a higher level that reason alone cannot comprehend.
The talk emphasizes that true faith appears in obedience and surrender, while excessive argument and bargaining with God reveal weak faith.
It also explains that some people place limits on God’s power: they believe that God can do certain things, but they do not expect Him to act beyond their own understanding.

Practical Application

A believer should practically trust that God exists, that He is capable, and that He is the maker of good things, rather than merely repeating these attributes theoretically.
When circumstances become difficult or obstacles appear, he should hold firmly to God instead of surrendering to fear and anxiety.
He should also live a life of surrender, placing his life and problems in God’s hands and trusting that God is working even when he cannot see how that work will happen or what its outcome will be.
