Christ Is Risen

Christ Is Risen
Christ was stronger than death. Death, which had conquered everyone, was conquered by Christ through His Resurrection. He rose from among the dead in great glory.
He came forth from the sealed tomb, just as He came forth from the womb of the Virgin while her virginity remained sealed, and just as He entered to the disciples while the doors were shut. He is stronger than nature, for nature is the work of His hands.
And when Christ rose from the dead and gave us the pledge of the resurrection, we no longer fear death. Death has become merely a bridge by which we journey into eternity and pass into the other life, which is far more beautiful.
We endure all the hardships of life in the hope of the resurrection, and we carry our cross at all times, because our cross will be transformed into a crown of light in our everlasting life after the resurrection.
Therefore, let us rejoice and be glad in the Resurrection of Christ, and let us greet one another, saying:
“Christ is risen… Truly He is risen.”
Let us live in the joy of the resurrection, and in the power of the resurrection, and most importantly of all:
Let us take the effectiveness of the resurrection into our lives:
Rise, my brother, with Christ, and do not allow death to reign in your life.
Christ the Living One has risen—
But are you still lying at rest…
Have you risen like Christ,
Or do you remain where you are,
Lying in the tomb?
