An Opinion – Humility

Humility is the most beautiful quality that characterizes the servant and one of the most important foundations of his success…

The Lord Christ said: “Learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart” (Matthew 11:29). And it was said of Him that He was: “He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench” (Matthew 12:19–20).

The humble priest presents to his people a good example, and in his calmness he teaches them meekness. The weary nerves of the world need calm men of religion who give rest to troubled nerves and do not become agitated like them…
