The Hope Series – All Things Are Possible for the Believer

⬇️ تحميل الفيديو

The lecture revolves around the hope that springs from faith that God is able to do all things, and that what a person is unable to do is not impossible for God. It warns against focusing on difficulties and closed doors, because this leads a person to fear, despair, and weariness, while faith calls him to look toward God’s work and power. The lecture presents many biblical examples, such as Moses, Saul of Tarsus, Nehemiah, Joseph the Righteous, and Peter the Apostle, to show how God can transform weakness into strength, tribulation into blessing, and a sinner into a repentant and holy person.

Spiritual Message

The central spiritual message is that the believer does not stop at the dark picture of the present, but looks with the eye of hope toward God’s work and toward the future that is in His hands. A person’s life, future, and destiny are all in God’s hands, and therefore the believer can live in peace, joy, and reassurance even in the midst of tribulations. The lecture emphasizes that God is working even when things seem still to a person, and that He is able to turn evil into good and to use trials and problems to increase faith, hope, and thanksgiving. This hope also appears in the life of repentance, for a person should not despair because of his sins or the long duration of his weakness, because God is able to change the heart and lead the sinner to repentance and holiness.

Educational Lesson

The lecture teaches that true faith does not mean waiting for God’s work passively, but rather participating with Him and responding to the work of the Holy Spirit. Among the most important spiritual exercises it presents are resisting thoughts of fear and despair, not surrendering to them, and answering them with the words of Holy Scripture and the promises of God. Therefore, it encourages memorizing verses and using them when facing discouraging thoughts, so that a person may remember God’s presence, power, and help. It also teaches that the believer should look at events in their entirety, not stopping at the tribulation alone, but waiting for God’s work and the outcome of His providence.

Practical Application

The practical application is for a person to ask God for stronger faith if he feels that his faith is weak, and to face every problem with confidence in God’s power instead of fear. When he encounters a closed door or a difficult trial, he should remember that God is able to open the way at the proper time, and that all things work together for good for those who love God. He should also remember God’s previous works in Holy Scripture and in his life, and thank Him not only for the problems from which He has delivered him, but also for His continual care. In this way, the believer lives with an enlarged heart, works with the grace of God, holds firmly to hope, and trusts that God is able to change events and hearts and lead the person toward what is good.
