My husband stays out late in the evening, and I never think that his work requires that. So what should I do with such a husband who does not care about his home, as though he is escaping from it to somewhere else?!

Would that every wife would make her home beloved to her husband, so that he longs for it whenever he is away from it.
For a man’s frequent absence from his home—without a compelling reason—indicates that there is no strong relationship between him and his home and the members of his household, and that there is neither love nor longing.
Creating love and longing is not achieved through excessive reproach, excessive interrogation, or excessive annoyance and causing distress.
A man may flee from the home because of constant unpleasantness.
Therefore, try to win your husband through love and through kind words that please him. Speak with him in the kind of conversation that appeals to him and that he likes. And if you find him reluctant to talk, do not burden him.
Also, find out when he began to stay away.
Did that happen after a quarrel between the two of you, or a heated discussion, or a disagreement over some matter? If so, repair the consequences of what happened.
Also, take care of your home, and of yourself within the home.
Make the image of the home attractive to him, and also your cheerful appearance, filled with love, caring for him and paying attention to him.
And beware of magnifying matters and complaining to many people, lest the matter become more complicated. And the Lord is able to bring him back to your home through your prayers.
