Advice for Someone Who Wants to Emigrate

Advice for Someone Who Wants to Emigrate
Question
My brother emigrated to Australia and sent me immigration papers. I am married, and I have a daughter who is 12 years old and a son who is 10 years old. Should I emigrate or remain in Egypt? What do you advise me? Knowing that my age does not allow me to start over, and I am afraid to submit my application.
Answer
There is a preliminary point I would like to tell you:
Has your brother abroad found a job for you there?
For what is the benefit of emigrating if you do not find a job? And if you wish to return to Egypt, your position there may already have been filled by someone else.
In Australia, our Egyptian academic degrees are not recognized. Therefore, a doctor cannot work as a doctor on the basis of his Egyptian degree, nor can an engineer work as an engineer. It is necessary to pass a very difficult examination, and success in it is rare.
Because of this, when I was in Australia, I met with the Federal Prime Minister, the Minister of Education, some state ministers, and also the shadow ministers (the opposition ministers) to discuss with them the matter of recognizing academic degrees.
Therefore, I would like you to make absolutely certain of this point before traveling.
Do not depend merely on promises, for they are not guaranteed.
The second point is proficiency in the English language.
This is the English language with the Australian accent. There are three forms of English that differ somewhat from one another: the English of England, the English of America, and the English of Australia. In any case, if you are not proficient in English, you will face difficulties in life there, and so will your children.
Another essential point concerns the future and upbringing of your daughter and son.
This includes their mastery of the English language, the recognition of their studies, and the educational level in which each of them will be enrolled.
There is also another serious point, namely the moral aspect.
This is a very difficult and serious issue, whether in America, Australia, or Europe. The ease of moral deviation there, and the exposure to falling into wrongdoing, are extremely great. Indeed, one who does not accept such behavior is considered abnormal there!
