The Ideal Journalist (12)

The Ideal Journalist (12)
In this section we will publish every week a simple note, or a piece of advice… concerning idealism in journalistic work.
The ideal journalist writes about interesting topics that people love and enjoy reading, and that build their souls and minds.
He presents to them the topic that they want, not the topic that he himself wants to write about.
And he writes for their sake, not for his own sake.
The readers are his goal, not the means by which he arrives.
The ideal journalist does not take journalism as an outlet in which he explains his personal troubles, but rather takes it as a means for building people…
People feel that he has no personal purpose in writing, and that he does not mobilize them to support him. Rather, his purpose is the public interest and nothing else…
