The Ideal Journalist (10)

The Ideal Journalist (10) [1]
In this section, we will publish every week a simple note, or a piece of advice… related to idealism in journalistic work.
The ideal journalist does not aim at personal fame or self-glory, by having his name become known, whatever the means that lead to this fame.
He does not raise sensitive topics for the sake of fame, nor does he confuse people’s minds for the sake of fame. Nor does he attack others so that he may intentionally enter into disputes and arguments for the sake of fame. Nor does he adopt for himself the approach of “Oppose in order to be known”…
The game of fame is played by the young and the beginners, and by those who feel that they are not known, or that people have forgotten them. As for those who are far from self-centeredness, they do not seek fame, nor do they fight by means of it…
The ideal journalist is sought by fame, without him seeking it. And it seeks him because of his talents, his competence, his good conscience, and people’s trust in him…
