One-Sided Love

The lecture revolves around that the relationship of God with الإنسان is a relationship of divine love that God always initiates, but الإنسان often does not reciprocate this love, so it becomes one-sided love.
God Is the Initiator of Love
God is the one who begins the relationship with الإنسان since creation, and He is the one who calls, attracts, and grants grace, as He did with the prophets, apostles, and all who entered into a relationship with Him.
The Problem of Lack of Response
Despite God’s continuous love, many do not respond to His call, rejecting or neglecting His love, so the love becomes from God’s side only without response from الإنسان.
Biblical Examples of One-Sided Love
This idea appears in many stories, such as people’s rejection of God’s love, their betrayal, and their refusal of His call despite all He offered them of care and blessings.
The Danger of Love Without Response
When الإنسان does not meet God’s love with love, he loses the spiritual blessing and may reach divine rejection due to persistence in distance and lack of repentance.
True Love Requires Response
God does not force الإنسان to love Him, but waits for a free response from the heart. لذلك the relationship with God must be based on mutual love, not just external practices.
Signs of Absence of Love
A person may pray, serve, or repent, but without true love for God, so these actions become without spirit. What is required is a heart that truly loves God.
The Call to Mutual Love
The الإنسان is called to reciprocate God’s love with love, and to use God’s gifts in goodness, not to become attached to the gifts and forget the Giver.
