1️⃣ Number 7 as a Symbol of Perfection

Before discussing 6 and 8, His Holiness reminds us that 7 symbolizes perfection, giving examples such as unlimited forgiveness and repeated sevens in the Book of Revelation.

2️⃣ Number 6: Completion of Work

He teaches that 6 represents the completion of human work, illustrated by:

  • Creation in six days.

  • Human labor for six days and rest on the seventh.

  • God blessing the sixth year with abundance.

  • The sixth-hour crucifixion and Christ’s sixth word: “It is finished.”

3️⃣ Number 6 in Various Biblical Events

Examples include:

  • The servant who is freed after six years.

  • Fruit-bearing: 30 and 60, which are 6×5 and 6×10.

  • Six waterpots filled before Christ’s miracle at Cana.

  • Six cities of refuge.

  • The entire time system built on multiples of six.

4️⃣ Number 6 in Spiritual Life

He points to:

  • The sixfold description of the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 11.

  • The six spiritual weapons in Ephesians 6.

  • The sixty mighty men around Solomon’s throne symbolizing those who completed their struggle.

  • The sixty-six souls of Jacob’s household entering Egypt.

5️⃣ The Number 144,000

He explains it symbolically as 6×6×6, expressing the fullness of completed work in God’s people.

6️⃣ Number 8: The Beginning of New Life

After work (6) and rest (7), 8 symbolizes:

  • Christ’s resurrection in the “day after the Sabbath,” beginning new life.

  • Circumcision on the eighth day as a sign of spiritual birth.

  • Eight souls saved in Noah’s ark.

  • Christ’s appearance to Thomas on the eighth day.

  • The foundation of the Church on the fiftieth day after 7×7 days.

  • The eight beatitudes marking the new life in the Gospel.

7️⃣ Number 8 in Persons and Events

He shows that:

  • Isaac was Abraham’s eighth son—the son of promise and new life.

  • David was the eighth son of Jesse, from whom Christ came.

  • Josiah reigned at eight years old as a symbol of renewal.

  • The Transfiguration occurred after eight days, showing the nature of the renewed life.
