Church Club

⬇️ تحميل الفيديو

The lecture talks about the meaning and goals of the church “club” for summer and affirms that the club is a means not an end; its primary goal is spiritual and educational: to provide children and youth with entertainment within the bosom of the church with spiritual connection and practical instruction for their behavior.

Club activities and spiritual character

The club can contain prayer, hymnody, melodies and spiritual lessons interspersed with play, written competitions and puzzles and intellectual entertainment, so that it mixes joy and the spiritual dimension.

Noted problems and risks

The lecture warns of mistakes that may occur: noise, commotion, disturbing neighbors, disrupting church meetings, clashes and fights among youth, returning home late at night harming families, and loss of respect for the church atmosphere.

Required rules and organization

It stresses the necessity of having a clear charter for the club that includes membership and member cards and conditions of joining to prevent admission of elements that spoil the spiritual atmosphere, and setting suitable times and not operating during church meetings.

Education and behavior inside the club

Children must be taught to play quietly and respect the feelings of others and adhere to schedules and respect the church during play, and to instill that the right to entertainment does not infringe others’ rights to rest.

Supervision and responsibility

Those responsible for the club should be fathers (priests), stewards of service, and supervisors or a clear committee that supervises the club spiritually and administratively.

Invitation for participation and feedback

The speaker invites that notes be written in an envelope titled “Church Club — Our Notes” so that the organizers benefit from the suggestions of parents and interested persons.

Practical conclusion

The club is a good requirement if it is organized in the spirit of the church, has a clear charter and spiritual supervision, teaches youth respectful behavior and gives them entertainment of a Christian character.
