angels

The lecture explains that angels are spiritual creatures created by God without a body, characterized by beauty, purity, and perfection in obedience to God.
Some angels passed a test and fell, becoming demons, and the rest remained steadfast in righteousness and do not fall again.
Practically there are two kinds of angels: angels assigned to worship around the throne of God, and ministering angels sent for service and guiding humans.
They act quickly at God’s command, move in the blink of an eye and accomplish His will without delay, protecting, guiding, and delivering people from distress.
Many biblical examples illustrate the work of angels: the guidance of Cornelius, Philip, Joseph the carpenter, Gabriel’s revelations to Daniel, and they bring people to healing or salvation.
Angels share in the joy of repentance and rejoice at the salvation of one sinner; they grieve to see people sink into sin and refuse repentance.
Angels have a role in the resurrection and the final gathering of the elect, they intercede and lift the prayers of the saints to God like the smoke of incense.
In the church we mention the angels in prayers and believe in the angel of the offering who ascends the offering, and the lights in the church symbolize the angels of God.
