A husband who is unable to have children wishes to implant his wife with sperm from another man. Is this permissible?
Answer
There is no doubt that this is clear adultery. It is, of course, not permissible, because it is not permissible for a woman’s womb to receive sperm from anyone other than her husband. Nor is it permissible for a woman’s ovum to be fertilized by anyone other than her husband.
