The church pulpit belongs to God alone.
It is not for publicity, nor for criticizing anyone, nor for speaking about oneself or other people. Neither is it for any personal purpose.
Rather, its purpose is the ministry of the Word.
The word of the Spirit, the word of teaching, the word of consolation, and the word of edification.
For anything else, it should not be used.
No one is permitted to misuse the church pulpit for another purpose.
Other purposes have other means besides the holy pulpit, the pulpit of teaching.
