⬇️ تحميل المحاضرة

The lecture discusses the doctrinal dispute concerning salvation and its relation to the Virgin Mary, particularly the belief that she was conceived without original sin and whether this aligns with the doctrine of redemption.

🕊️ Spiritual and Educational Essence

Pope Shenouda III explains that the doctrine of salvation in Christian faith is based on one essential foundation: the blood of Christ. There is no salvation for any human being, regardless of holiness, except through the shedding of Christ’s blood.

📖 Biblical Evidence

The explanation relies on the Virgin Mary’s hymn in the Gospel of Luke:
“My spirit rejoices in God my Savior,”
which clearly shows that she herself acknowledged her need for salvation.

🧠 Theological Clarification

The sanctification of the Virgin by the Holy Spirit was for the sake of the incarnation of Christ, preparing a sinless body for the One born of her, not to remove original sin from her personally.

⚠️ The Danger of Doctrinal Deviation

The lecture warns that claiming any path to salvation other than Christ’s blood—even for one person—undermines the doctrines of Incarnation and Redemption.

🏛️ Rejection of Non-Biblical Foundations

It rejects establishing church doctrine on visions or events lacking clear biblical and theological foundations, especially those based on accounts from children.

✨ Conclusion

The Virgin Mary is a great and holy saint, but she received salvation through the blood of her Son, just like all humanity. There is no salvation without the shedding of Christ’s blood.
