The Ideal Journalist (3)

The Ideal Journalist (3)
In this section, every week we will publish a simple remark or advice related to idealism in journalistic work.
The ideal journalist does not care about the noise caused by his articles or reports, but rather about the benefit that results from them, and the goodness that puts his conscience at rest and brings joy to people’s hearts.
Creating noise is an easy matter that anyone can do. Noise is not good in itself, nor is it good as a means… rather, it may be harmful, and the journalist bears responsibility for it before God and people.
God’s works are characterized by calm and peace. And the dignified journalist is characterized by calmness and purposeful, beneficial work.
One of the great writers said: “When God threw me like a pebble into the lake of life, I caused bubbles on its surface and countless circles. But once I reached the bottom, I became calm.”
The ideal journalist does not care about making bubbles on the surface of life and countless circles.
