His Holiness discussed causes of marital failure such as parental interference, economic pressure, excessive jealousy, and constant negativity, affirming that joy, respect, and calm dialogue are keys to a happy home.

He then spoke about raising children, noting that a child mirrors his parents and absorbs their behavior more than their words. He called for raising children through love and good example, not fear, and for instilling honesty, justice, and generosity from an early age.

He emphasized the importance of mutual respect between parents and children so that children are not torn between both sides, and highlighted that parents must be living examples, since children imitate what they see.

His Holiness concluded by saying that an ideal society is one built on love, fairness, and cooperation, free from selfishness or division, and that every nation’s goodness begins with the faithful, loving home.
